Flying Spaghetti Monster bless us, every one!

A few jingle links:

Last week, Chicago Tribune columnist Eric Zorn wrote a great "fuck you" to the letter writers, columnists, radio mouths, etc., who are complaining about The War on Christmas. This week, he and fellow columnist Mary Schmich have put together a nice little Christmas Carol Quiz.

Speaking TWoC, RTFM.

Bored at the reference desk? Pimp my nutcracker!

On Christmas Eve, NORAD will be tracking Santa again.

Not only has Accordion Guy been posting items for an audio advent calendar (scroll down the blog, or listen to David Sedaris' "Six to Eight Black Men" right now!), but he's also posted the Official Disturbing Japanese Christmas Image for 2006.

A perennial fave of ours -- and useful for those information fluency classes -- is Welcome Christmas! The Story of a Holiday Hymn.

We're sure that the anAACRonisms' holiday tune, Christmas Time at the Library, must be a perennial fave of somebody.

Three things that suck (non-OPAC division):

  1. Zune
  2. Bad sex writing
  3. Guacamole which has almost no avocado
Unfortunately, it looks like Zunes, as well as iPods, can't be sent to North Korea.
